Our bus is a 1963 Bristol Lodekka. The Lodekka was designed for routes that had low-clearance overpasses--hence the low ceilings! The bus retired from the British public transit in the late 70s and served as a party bus in Atlanta before she was brought to Asheville in 1999. Recently purchased
and renovated by new owners, Double Decker Coffee Company serves gourmet beverages and top-notch light fare in a fun, family-friendly environment.
